Paws to Love spay and neutering service for cats
Barb Janssen is a cat-loving Salina resident who has helped many cat owners spay and neuter their pets at an affordable cost. She and other volunteers will transport your cat to the PAWS TO LOVE Clinic in Wamego and return with him/her the same day. Barb is supported by the Friends of the Animal Shelter. The Animal Legal Defense Fund can help with any issues you may have such as landlord-tenant questions, animal neglect cases, problems with your vet, or any form of animal abuse.

Pet Loss Support Hotline: 1-888-478-7574
This free service is funded by the Iams Company, but manned by veterinary students at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine to provide a source of emotional support for those who have lost a pet or are anticipating the loss of their pet.

Animal Behavior Hotline: 415-554-3075
They offer assistance with many kinds of animal and pet behavior problems.
You will be responsible for paying any long distance phone charges incurred.
